Our son loves to be read to, I bet all children do. We were lucky enough to have my aunt buy us some excellent books when Mason was born, that he’s still enjoying now that he’s one year old. Here’s a list of some of his favorites, which would make great gifts for your child or someone else’s:

Pat the Bunny Pat the Bunny (Touch and Feel Book) | That’s Not My Robot That's Not My Robot (Touchy-Feely Board Books) (part of a series, including: That’s Not My Puppy, , That’s Not My Teddy, and That’s Not My Dinosaur ) — these are touch and feel books.

Colors Bright Baby Colors (Bright Baby) | My First Body Board Book My First Body Board Book (My First Board Books) — recently, Mason is really interested in the beautiful photos of these books.

There’s also a wide selection of Japanese books my wife reads to him. (I’ll have to get her to do an article about those.)

As I mentioned in my other article, we use the library a lot. It really cuts down on the cost of having new books. But the ones above, Mason keeps asking us to read again and again…
